Refund, Return & Exchange Policy
At RudraYaam, customer satisfaction is our top priority. While we strive to deliver the best quality products and a seamless shopping experience, we understand that there may be circumstances where you may seek a return, refund, or exchange. Please carefully read the policy below before initiating any such request.
General Return & Exchange Policy
We offer a 1-day return and exchange policy, which means you have 24 hours from the time of delivery to request a return or replacement only if the item received is damaged during transit or incorrect.
We do not accept return or exchange requests for reasons such as a change of mind, dislike of the product, or minor imperfections that do not affect the usability or quality of the item.
Eligibility Criteria for Returns & Exchanges
- Valid Reasons for Return/Exchange:
- Product received is damaged during shipping.
- You received a wrong item from what was originally ordered.
- Videographic Proof is Mandatory: The customer must provide clear, unedited videographic evidence recorded at the time of opening the package. This is essential for our internal evaluation. Without this video proof, we will be unable to process any return, refund, or exchange request.
- Condition of Returned Product:
- Product must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging with tags and any accompanying certification.
- Items that are tampered with or altered in any way will not be eligible for return or exchange.
- Time Limit:
- You must notify us via email at support@rudrayaam.com within 1 day of delivery to be eligible.
- Requests after 7 days of delivery will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Exclusions – What’s Not Eligible for Return/Exchange
We will NOT accept returns or exchanges for the following:
- Change of Mind: If you simply do not want the product after purchase.
- Minor Packaging Flaws: Slight imperfections in outer packaging that don’t affect the product inside.
- Slight Color or Size Variations: Products may vary slightly in appearance due to lighting, display screens, or manufacturing tolerances.
Please ensure to check the size chart and read product descriptions carefully before ordering.
Exchange Process (if applicable)
- We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery.
- If eligible, email us at rudrayaam@gmail.com within 1 day of receiving your item.
- You must return the product in its original condition to the following address:
Rameswaram Road (Rudra Saubhagyam), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. - Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
📌 Note: Video proof of the issue is mandatory for exchange eligibility.
Refund Process
If your return is approved:
- We will notify you via email once we receive and inspect the item.
- Refunds will be issued only to the original method of payment within 5–12 business days, depending on your bank or payment gateway processing time.
For prepaid orders (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking):
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment account within 5–7 working days.
For COD orders above ₹2,00,000:
- We may require additional documentation like a PAN Card, cancelled cheque, or bank passbook for refund processing.
- Refunds will be made only to the name and account details that match the original order.
Note: If the details provided do not match our records or are incomplete, we reserve the right to deny the refund request.
Delays:
While we make every effort to process refunds promptly, we are not liable for any delays caused by third-party service providers or unforeseen technical issues. Please allow additional time in such cases.
Partial COD Orders – Refund Conditions
If a customer places an order with partial Cash on Delivery (COD) payment and later refuses to accept the delivery, the partially paid amount is non-refundable.
However, an exception applies only if:
- The delivery was not made, and the delivery personnel falsely marked the product as delivered, or
- You did not share the OTP but the delivery was falsely marked as completed.
If the OTP is shared with the delivery person and the product is marked as delivered or cancelled via OTP, we will consider that the customer willingly canceled or refused the product after a change of mind.
In such a case, the partially paid amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- First check your bank account and/or credit card statement.
- Then contact your credit card provider – it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
- Lastly, contact your bank, as refunds can take several steps to process.
